- Circularity and Resource Efficiency of Food Systems: 22 May 2019
SAFE member National R&D Institute for Food Bioresources, IBA in Romania is organising this conference which will take place under the Romanian presidency of the European Union.
The intention is to create a supportive environment for establishing new collaborations in the field of agri-food research that share the same ideas as the Food 2030 initiative.
The main aim of the event is to raise awareness about sustainable production and consumption, to minimize food waste and to transform agrofood by products and residues into new raw materials for different purposes with an environmentally friendly approach.

- Global Food Safety Summit. 2-3 Sept 2019
Managing a safe and secure global food supply chain from farm to fork!As in previous years, this event will bring together key stakeholders from all along several food chains including manufacturers, suppliers, regulators and the experts that support them. Highlights of the event will include case study experiences. Networking opportunities will be plentiful as representatives from major food and beverage producers, suppliers and retailers participate.

- INCREaSE 2019: 9-11 Oct 2019
SAFE consortium will participate in the International Congress on Engineering and Sustainability in the XXIst Century to be held at the University of Algarve in Faro PT from 8-11 October 2019.
The SAFE Secretary General, Katherine M Flynn, is a member of the Scientific Committee.

TUESDAY 19 June at 15H CET

AZTI-Tecnalia / SAFE consortium Predictive Microbiology Seminar of October 2010
This one day seminar, 'Advanced Tools for Shelf-Life and Safety Prediction in the Food Chain', was organised by SAFE member AZTI-Tecnalia together with the SAFE office, and was held on 25 October 2010 at the AZTI-Tecnalia laboratories in Derio (Bilbao) SPAIN.
TNO / SAFE consortium Packaging Seminar of February 2010
This lunch-to-lunch seminar, 'Developments in Safety Assessment of Food Contact Materials' was organised by SAFE member TNO together with the SAFE office and was held 24 and 25 February 2010 at the Hotel Bergse Bossen in Driebergen, Netherlands.
SAFE Consortium Endocrine Disruption Workshop of November 2009
The 2-day workshop, ‘Dietary Exposure to Endocrine-Active Pesticides’ was held on 26 and 27 November at theMartin’s Central Park Hotel in Brussels. There were 31 experts from industry, government, academia and non-profits in attendance and a summary paper of the Workshop has been published in Environment International.
