panIAR-PAS is the Institute of Animal Reproduction and Food Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences and is located in Olsztyn. The institute has been functioning for 20 years, always holding a leading position amongst Polish research centres. The institute is known for its collaborations throughout Europe and internationally.

IAR-PAS has been a member of the SAFE consortium since January 2010.

Research tasks at the Institute are performed in its two Divisions: Division of Food Science and Division of Reproductive Biology. The institute employs 75 research staff and over 30 Ph.D. and Master's students.
